Please contact us if you have special dietary requirements. We would love to work with you! Our food service team will be able to provide you with a menu and help you determine which foods from our menu you will be able to enjoy. At this time, we are unable to serve alternative foods for campers with special dietary needs, but you may bring supplemental food with you. We have freezer, refrigerator, and pantry space in our Dining Hall that you will have access to at meal times, and there is a toaster oven and microwave available as well. We will also send you detailed instructions on the best way to prepare and package the supplemental food you bring.

What is the schedule like?
You can see a sample schedule. Each day’s schedule has a great balance of spiritual enrichment, all camp activities, and individual free time.
How many services are there each day?
Most days there are three services. (On Monday there is only one and on Thursday there are only two.) You will be hearing preaching from men who are experienced in speaking to teenagers. They will be talking about things that you deal with. You will have plenty of free time each day, but the services are the most important part of your time here at camp.
What is there to do at camp?
I’m glad you asked! There is more to do than you will be able accomplish in one week of camp: basketball, sand volleyball, soccer, Human Foosball, GaZEEball, Land Trolley, Giant Swing, lake activities, the waterfalls, miniature golf, Water Wars, Superslide, Tubing, Gameroom, Archery Range, Summit (ropes and wires course), and more. You can see specific descriptions on our activities page. I can promise you that you will have to work REALLY hard to be bored during your week of camp!
Can I request a specific counselor?
Yes. Simply write the request on your registration and we will do our best to put you with that counselor. Sometimes it will not be possible to honor this request depending on which age group the counselor is working with the week you are coming to camp.
Is it worth registering early?
Absolutely! You get a discount as well as being able to choose the week that best fits your church’s needs.
How can I communicate with my child while they are at camp?
You can imagine what it would be like if we allowed 800 teenagers to keep their cell phones with them during the week of camp. You know how hard it is to get your son or daughter off the phone for even a few minutes. In order to keep the campers from being distracted and to minimize the chance for stolen phones, we ask that all cell phones be turned in to their sponsors at the beginning of the week.
If you need to get in touch with your child, you can call The Wilds office and request to speak with him or her. The office staff will coordinate a time that works with your schedule and the camp schedule for him/her to call home. Also, in the event of a medical emergency, your child would be allowed to call home.
If you would like to send mail to your child, please use the following address:

Can I request someone to be in my cabin with me?
When you register, you will be allowed to request one person to room with. This person must be either one grade above, the same grade, or one grade below you.
How many people will be in my cabin with me?
Most cabins will have 7-8 campers and one counselor.
What should I bring?
Bible, bedding, pillow, towels, toiletries, camera, casual clothes, and shoes for informal services and recreation. Bedding, pillows, and towels are provided in the Lodge and Inn accommodations only, unless specific camp information indicates differently. Please note that an ATM is available on the campsite for your convenience.
