Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have had to cancel our CIT program. Please see our coronavirus update page for more information.
The Wilds Camper In Training program exists to develop true biblical leaders bybuilding whole-hearted, servant-minded teens for Christ-like leadership. CIT features detailed biblical teaching sessions emphasizing the progress of growth into Christ-likeness and cultivating a life of influence in the world for Christ.
The first week’s sessions are designed to explore the inner qualities of a believer’s growth in a whole-hearted love for God. Building on the first week’s instruction, the second week targets the outer qualities of life in order to develop a life of service to others and to equip the participants to make an impact for Christ in their home, schools, churches, and neighborhoods.
During the second week the teen will be placed into a cabin with peers in order to apply the principles of servant-leadership. Along with scheduled lectures and interactive group discussions, each CITer will be involved in at least two personal interviews with a CIT instructor and a personal evaluation by a trained counselor from The Wilds.
