What lady doesn’t love the inviting beauty and delight of spring? And spring in the mountains is extra refreshing—especially when it involves not only physical and mental refreshment, but also spiritual encouragement. That’s what you can expect from the annual Ladies’ Retreats at The Wilds in April. In less than a 24-hour time period you can enjoy God’s gorgeous creation, fellowship with like-minded ladies, listen to and learn from God’s Word, shop for helpful spiritual resources, laugh a lot, and eat delicious food (cooked by someone else!). And this year we are even experimenting with a late night S’mores bar around the campfire!
Our speaker for the April 7-8 retreat is Debbie Herbster, and she has chosen the theme, “What is your life?” from the wonderful passage in Colossians 3. Linda Phelps will be speaking for the April 21-22 retreat and her topic is, “Be of Good Cheer: Handling the Storms of Life.” Through God’s grace Linda has been enabled to weather some severe storms in her own life, and she looks forward to sharing her experiences to help you.
Both Debbie and Linda are pastors’ wives who have a special giftedness for lovingly investing in the lives of individual women. They continually strive to encourage the women in their churches with Biblical truth for daily living, and will do the same for each of us. The April 7-8 retreat has reached capacity, but you can still register for the April 21-22 retreat. We would love to have you join us for this revitalizing spring retreat!
