Doug Gorsline and his team have the campsite looking good as the flowers are ablaze with color and the Ballfields are lush—ready to be torn up by that traditional weekly summer game of Bigball! The staff’s attention is laser-focused on finishing spring and being ready for summer. So, why are we already talking about fall? Because we know that a fall calendar can fill up quickly, and we want to be on YOUR calendar! You might be asking, “Does The Wilds keep going after summer?” or “Does The Wilds have a retreat for me?” YES!
Here is a quick peek at camps happening this fall:
Saturdays during our fall camps are full of action or relaxation. Options for the “action” include volleyball, Human Foosball, GaZEEball, boating, swinging on our 65’ Giant Swing, and hiking to gorgeous waterfalls or zipping over them! For those whose idea of a hike is from the car to the coffee shop—you are in luck! Cool Beans and The Snack are right around the corner. Or come relax under our brand new covered pavilion that will provide a beautiful view of the fall colors.
All that fun is topped off with the blessing of being challenged by God’s Word. The speakers have a passion to know God’s Word so they can deliver His truth to you in a way that will impact your everyday life.
Couples’ retreats are a true highlight of our fall calendar. It is the perfect getaway for a couple wanting some time together or for a group of couples from your church to spend the weekend together. The Saturday supper is a fantastic meal eaten while being entertained by The Wilds Funtime–dinner theater style. Good food and good laughs are always a great combination! Reserve your spot on our calendar TODAY! This could be a perfect gift for a young couple or a mom and dad celebrating a special anniversary!
Other fall highlights include our College & Career Retreat with Scott Ashmore, and Rand Hummel returning for our Men’s Retreat in December.
Hope you enjoy the spring and summer, and we will see you in the fall!
